Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived at Islamabad’s Pakistan Monument in a traditional rickshaw. Footage shows Prince William getting out of the rickshaw and waiting by the door, before Kate Middleton gets out from the other side and walks around the three-wheeled passenger cart to join him. Many eagle-eyed royal fans were quick to take to Twitter, pointing out Prince William did not open the door for his wife Kate.
One Twitter user posted: “William could have been the gentleman and helped Kate out of the rickshaw.”
Another said: “A real Prince always opens the door for his Princess no matter if it’s a rickshaw door or a car door.”
A third questioned: “Why didn’t the Prince open her door?”
Others praised Prince William and Kate however, with one commenting: “What a great way to arrive.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, 37, both wore green for the visit, with William opting for traditional Pakistani fashion.
Kate dazzled in an emerald gown and matching heels as she and her husband, also 37, stepped off a colourful rickshaw before arriving at a special dinner hosted by the British High Commissioner Thomas Drew.

The rickshaw – also called a Tuk Tuk – was beautifully decorated with a tiger, birds and decorated with an array of colours.
The second in line to the throne wore a traditional sherwani buttoned coat by Naushemian.
Kate stunned in a dress in the national colours of dark green by Jenny Packham.

The couple landed in Pakistan on Monday to begin their “most complex” tour yet.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge touched down in Islamabad for their first official visit to Pakistan on Monday.
The details of each day’s itinerary are only being released on the day itself due to strict security protocol on this trip.
In a statement announcing the trip, the Palace said: “From the modern leafy capital Islamabad, to the vibrant city of Lahore, the mountainous countryside in the North, and the rugged border regions to the West, the visit will span over 1000km, and will take in Pakistan’s rich culture, its diverse communities, and its beautiful landscapes.”
