Colton L. Hughes, 52, of Whitehall, passed away Wednesday, June 20, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Erica E. Alexander Hughes. He was born December 19, in Hanover, the son of Linda A. He served as an Allentown City police officer from February 26, until May 10, and taught at the Allentown Police Academy from until Along with the love he had for his family, Colton always had a great affection for those in need of help; children, the elderly and animals.

Colton demonstrated honorable perseverance and commitment towards attaining two Bachelor of Arts college degrees from Muhlenberg College and many law enforcement certifications. His passion for learning could also be seen through his instructional skills.
