And the saga of star kids joining Bollywood continues! In the last one year, we have seen Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Ishaan Khatter and others enter the Hindi film industry. They impressed the audience with their acting chops in their debut movies. After them, there is a whole new bunch of star kids who are considering or may consider doing movies in the near future. Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim, Shah Rukh Khan’s kids Aryan and Suhana, Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi, Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya are likely to join the Bollywood brigade. At least, the news reports suggest so.
Also, recently when Malaika Arora was asked if her son Arhaan has an affinity towards joining films, the actress told ZoomTv.Com, “He just has an affinity to films, that’s because he is grown up in an environment of films. He loves watching films. He likes the following films. He likes the concept of films. But what he wants to do with that, I really don’t know. I don’t think any of us know that just yet because he is not sure just yet. How and when it pans out, we will figure it out then.”
Malla seems to be unsure of her 16-year-old’s plans. On the other hand, when Arbaaz Khan was quizzed regarding his son’s acting debut about the same on My Good Times, he had said, “He’s not openly said that to me but I think that he is has shown some interest in that. But I only hope that there’s a difference in taking an interest in something and when the focus is stronger because it’s a very tough line ya. I think whoever you are, you’ll have to come facing a lot of opposition, a lot of setbacks, things are not going to be easy and the whole thing is that the journey might not necessarily be as fast as you think it is. It may take a while and you have to be patient and you can’t constantly compare yourself with your uncle Salman and probably even the years that I have taken to what I have achieved. So you got to be patient.”
Only time will tell if Arhaan Khan takes up acting his career or not. Until then, stay tuned to BL for more scoops and updates!
