And after thousands of rumour reports, dozens of potential deals and three confirmed signings, Manchester United supporters are hoping for one more arrival in the final day hours of the summer window.
At the start of the summer, United fans anticipated a major rebuild overseen by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, whose preference for young British signings has, in fairness, come to fruition with the arrivals of Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissak and Daniel James. But several attempts to sign players have hit the wall, with United pulling the plug on others.
