The demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has been the most shocking incident in Bollywood for a long time. The young actor, 34, was found hanging in the bedroom of his Bandra apartment. The incident happened on June 14. As of now, the Mumbai Police has declared that it is death by asphyxia and that viscera report is normal without any foul play. However, there are few questions that are bothering his fans and the general public. There is a huge demand for a CBI Enquiry in the matter. Now, Akshaye Khanna has also requested the Indian Government to initiate a high level probe in the matter.

Sushant Singh Rajput was reportedly suffering from depression. The cops said that medicines were recovered from his room. The actor was taking treatment from a top level psychaitrist for clinical depression. On the night of June 13, the actor had a small house party with four of his friends. He had made calls to Mahesh Shetty and Rhea Chakraborty, which went unanswered. On June 14, he got up in the morning, had his juice and tablets. Then, he locked himself up in his bedroom. When they knocked at 11.30 am, they did not get any response. When he did not respond after repeated knocks, they had to call a keymaker and open the door.
His demise has raised conversations on the topic of mental health. Depression, as a topic was raised by Deepika Padukone some time back. People are however in disbelief as the actor was doing well professionally. The death has also raised questions on nepotism in Bollywood. People have pinpointed how successive blind items on him caused enough mental and emotional turmoil.
